Nearly two years ago I took the plunge toward a long held aspiration: producing my own online TV channel focused on supporting people (particularly women) to be more courageous in their work, relationships and life.
I had no idea how to go about it (Actually, I’m still not sure!). Needless to say it’s been a ‘learning experience’ just to arrive here today to introduce you to Raw Courage TV.
To be honest, this has been an act of personal courage for me as I’ve ventured onto new ground; unsure of myself and nervous about falling short in the process. I’ve made plenty of mistakes already and I’ve no doubt that in the months and years to come it will continue to evolve as I learn more about what resonates, what works, and what doesn’t.
My big vision for Raw Courage TV is to provide an inspiring source of advice for women who want to do more, and be more, but too often doubt whether they can.
What I’ve enjoyed most have been the Conversations on Courage interviews I’ve done with a with a diverse range of women.
We’ve talked about the challenges they’ve overcome – from being abandoned at 14 years of age to escaping an abusive marriage and drug addiction – and the challenges they’ve actively pursued – like becoming the world’s #1 female surfing champion (aka my interview with Layne Beachley).
I appreciate that a third of Live Bravely! subscribers are men. If you’re one of those handsome gentlemen then just know that I’m committed to ensuring what I share will have relevance and value across both genders. Let’s face it, we all need encouragement to stay connected to what matters most, to say no to what doesn’t inspire and expand us, and say yes to what does.

Currently, Raw Courage TV is a ‘work in progress’. I’m hoping that in the years to come I will be able to share with you, and millions of others around the world, content that not only helps you to live a bigger and more rewarding life, but that contributes to the global conversations about how all of us, collectively, can create a better – more tolerant and just- world for everyone.
Thank you for your ongoing support. I wouldn’t be doing what I do without it!
See you on Raw Courage TV!
