“Working with Margie over the last several months has been a great experience. Margie forced me to look long and hard at my goals and what I am doing to achieve them. She’s a great coach who helps focus you on important matters and find answers to difficult questions with just the right balance of pushing you outside your comfort zone and then helping you get back into it. I was impressed with how quickly Margie was able to understand my world. She was also very reliable following up meeting actions. In addition, Margie is a warm and friendly person who is a pleasure to work with. I recommend Margie for anyone who is looking for some structure, guidance, or even an overhaul in how to approach his/her career.” ~ Julie Bloecher | Director, Partnership Management | BT
Margie’s approach to Executive Coaching is based on the Ontological Model, which distinguishes organizational effectiveness as being driven by the quality of the relationships and conversations in an organization.
Executive coaching is aimed at developing individuals’ excellence in leadership, communication, emotional management, interpersonal relationships and personal well-being. When a talented individual becomes a more effective team contributor, it makes a positive difference in the organization’s performance. When a manager learns to better understand, develop and communicate with other people, the results can be powerful for the organization and for its members.
Margie works with individuals and teams within organizations to improve communication, relationships, productivity and time management, executive presence, leadership effectiveness, conflict management and cooperation around projects. Coaching can be done for specific performance-related issues and for overall executive performance and effectiveness.
Margie’s special expertise is in coaching high-potential professional women to improve their self-expression, executive presence, ability to manage conflict and maintain work/family balance. She also conducts customized workshop sessions to meet the specific needs and challenges of a specific organization or team.
Team and Executive Coaching are also offered, as well as Executive Roundtable Sessions in the following formats:
- on premise at client workplace
- off-site at a mutually agreeable location
- over the phone (often the most convenient method for one-on-on coaching with busy executives)
